The Embassy Services Group is the section that operates behind the scenes to ensure that the Embassy is running as efficiently as possible. It is responsible for such things as the Embassy budget, health & safely, security, the recruitment of Japan based staff and the maintenance of office facilities.

In keeping with the British Government’s aim to maximise the value for money it achieves from its overseas representation, Members of the Embassy Services Group also place a high priority on the Embassy’s operations being cost-efficient.
