The British Embassy is working with various partners in Japan to help tackle climate change.  

The Strategic Programme Fund (SPF)allows us to work with a variety of organisations, such as NGOs, private businesses, individual consultants, think tanks, and academic institutions.  

The Embassy also works to reach the Japanese public through events, seminars and media activity.

Climate change and energy policies have strong foundations in scientific research and the development of new technologies.  Please refer to the webpage of the Embassy’s Science and Innovation Section for more details on Japan-UK collaboration in these areas.
